Keeper Candidates: Alabama Hot Pockets

Carlos Beltran - $11. Beltran bounced back after two consecutive injury plagued seasons. Will run bases faster than Pujols, or at least will try.

Ryan Howard - $48. Because of his injury, he may start the year on the DL. If not kept, will come at a discounted rate, But shit, he should still hit about thirty dingers and if Utley can regain his power...something.

Gaby Sanchez - $14. Not alot of power options in the NL first base market now that Carlos Pena, Prince Fielder and Albert Pujols have left. This guy once punched a dude with his forearm. I liked watching that. Should put up similar numbers in 2012 as in 2011.

Rickie Weeks - $36. If healthy, what a beast. If not, what a bitch.

Chris Carpenter - $18. Carpenter has pitched pretty well the past couple years. Health and age could be a factor as well as God Dave Duncan not being around.

Edwin Jackson - $8. Jackson is an innings eater and does well in strike outs. On a simulated season from MVP 2005 on PS2, Jackson won 22 games. The following year of my franchise, I traded for him. He sucked.

Craig Kimbrel - $3. Wow this guy was phenomenal last season. 46 saves and 14.8 K/rate. Oh, and he had 127 strikeouts.

Projected keepers: Craig Kimbrel, Gaby Sanchez.
