Dean Finds Internet Signal, Makes Two Trades

The Steamers and Clams struck a deadline deal last night that would send Rutledge, Hamels and Bourn to the Clammies and Posey, Phillips and Putz to Cleveland. The Cleveland Steamers are hoping to wrestle third place away from the Hunkiest of Hunks, Hunks Clubhouse. All the while, the Clams try to hang on to that tops spot of the bottom half of the league.

Earlier in the week, the Hunks finally moved Ike Davis and received Danny Espinosa in return. With Eric Young on the DL, the Hunks are hoping Espinosa can fill the hole left at MI. It's a scary time for the Hunks, you know, with McCutchen and Kubel not producing. Let us not forget how the Hunks have risen despite losing Grienke and Sanchez. Quite an accomplishment. If there were an award for manager of the year, Hunks would be repeating.

On the prospect of being awarded waiver rights for Adrian Gonzalez, Hunks manager Hunk Monroe said "I have absolute confidence that my $7 waiver bid will fall just shy. But I still have confidence that outfielders will pull their heads of of their asses." On Justin Germano, "I really hope I can afford to strike him from my roster soon."

When asked about the season in a recent interview with Hunks Magazine, Hunk Monroe said "I didn't expect to have such a Hunkacious run to the top of the league. Really though, if you look at my points, I'm only playing to hang on to third. I don't see this team gaining enough points to finish in the top two. The problem right now is pinching off those Cleveland Steamers. They seem to just hang right in there no matter how hard we try to shake them off. We both have gains a losses at the same time. I just hope that my Hunks and power up and push those Steamers out and wipe ourselves clean of this stinky situation. How corny would it be if the Steamers got Turd place? It's Hunks Time!"

Let me also point out that the Clams acquired Brian McCann for Rueben Tejada. The Bearded Clams finally stopped letting teams try and finger them and have just givin it up for nothing. Maybe I didn't work the nipples enough. The Steamers pretty much just deflowered the poor Clams. And what does he get in return for Posey? Not a Hunk, that's for sure.

  1. I think the travesty of the whole handyj season is that fact the the pockets used a keeper spot for gabby sanchez at the beginning of the season only to see him hit under .200, get sent to the minors, get traded, get sent to the minors again and now pull splinters out of his ass nightly in Pittsburgh. Fuckin wet back cost me a chance for the top half

  2. I remember back to the draft, I was hoping he wouldn't be kept. He was gonna be a sneaky draft pick by me. Thankfully I wasted that on Justin Turner. Bazinga.
