Hey, Hunks here. Did ya'll know that if you go to your team page (where your line-up is) you can access your team log. The team log shows all the players that appeared on your roster for the season along with the stats they earned you. Pretty cool, huh.

Bonus Points

So i'm just now finding out about bonus points... Can't say I agree with giving points away based on leading stat categories. Now I understand nothing can be done this season and that's fine. However, let me stat my case for 2013.

Bonus points? Really? The whole point is to try and accumulate as many stat points as you can. So we give out bonus points for doing what you're supposed to do? Should we take points away for being dead last in a category? I mean come on. It's just not accurate for record keeping either.

Look, my players accumulated stats the correlated into 74.5 points which is good enough for third place. No more and no less. Giving me a bonus point for leading a category is NOT a direct reflection of how well my team performed. They only performed well enough to earn 74.5 points. That's it! What's next? Extra points for having the actual MVP and CY Young winner on your roster (both of which I would have, by the way)?

In conclusion let me just say bonus points shmonus boinks. I want to earn the final standing and point score I deserve for next season. Whether it's second last just ahead of Shawn or third place once again. These Hunks don't run.

Biggest Keeper Bust

The winner is an obvious choice so let's first look at the runners-up.

Injury!

Lance Berkman ended up having a bad luck season. He was hardly given time to replicate the bad ass numbers he put up last year. I'd feel bad for the guy if he was wearing a different uniform. On second though, I still wouldn't really care. 

Corey Luekbe was the $1 ace in the hole for the Hunks. The Hunks paid the price at the end of April when Luekbe's season ended with Tommy John Surgery. 33 cents per win.

Despite a poor batting average Dee Gordon racked up the steals for the Hamstrings, then he tore the UCL in his right thumb and is still healing. So...you need a thumb to steal?

Brian Wilson. The phony went on the shelf in late April with an elbow strain. This guy is just a phony I tell ya. Hard to justify keeping a closer.

Bums!

Cameron Maybin is just another flop of a first round pick.

Johan Santana. Ok, so you had a no-hitter. That don't empress me much.

Brandon Belt. Maybe if the Giants had played him everyday...

Brian McCann will probably match his HR and RBI averages but his AVG suuuuuuucks.
